Kuala Lumpur City Gallery

9am-6:30pm
27 Jalan Raja, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 50050

The basics

Built in 1898 to serve as the colonial government’s printing office, the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery building is a classic piece of Indo-Saracenic architecture that stands in comparison with Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and the Jamek Mosque. After admiring the exterior, and perhaps taking a selfie with the “I LOVE KL” sign, enjoy dioramas, photos, and displays about old Kuala Lumpur, then discover the spectacular model of the modern city, built at a cost of over 5 million Malaysian ringgit and home to more than 5,000 buildings. It’s easy to swing by independently, but the gallery is also a common stop on Kuala Lumpur city tours.

Kuala Lumpur City Tour - Private
We actually missed this tour. My daughter was not well so we decided not to go, few hours before tour starts. A driver had to come to pick us up from hotel at given time. We didn't claim a refund as decision was our.

Janice was absolutely the best. From our conversations to the tour. Made sure I was comfortable from the beginning. I had the best time. I will definitely be recommending this tour to any of my friends who are planning on coming to KL for sure. Janice took the best pictures and at some point, i stopped looking at the pictures immediately after she took them, because I was confident that they were perfect. BOOK THIS TOUR. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! I promise.

Indeed, a very wonderful experience for me and my family. Cecilia is an accommodating tour guide. She makes our Kuala Lumpur tour more meaningful by taking perfect "Instagrammable" photos of the places we visited. Also, she goes out of her way to look for a local restaurant when we mentioned that we want local dishes for our lunch. Thanks a lot!

This was such an excellent tour of KL. I only had about 36 hours in the city and didn’t really know where to even start. I booked this tour and was so glad because we covered a lot of ground. I truly had the best day going around the city with Chen as my tour guide. He picked me up promptly at the hotel W Kuala Lumpur. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. He also has wonderful photography skills and knows the most beautiful places to take pictures. I am very excited to share them on the ‘Gram and cannot wait to come back to visit KL again. Thanks again!! :)

Chen was our tour guide and we were very happy during this tour. He was very friendly and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and gave us insights of the places we tour which made it very interesting. He made it possible to live up with the tour name KL Instagram Tour because he always offered to take our pictures and he knows the right spot and angle to make it a memorable shot. He was so friendly he offered to accompany us on his free time to the night market. I would definitely recommend Chen to be your tour guide.
