Wonderful tour. Guide was well informed and interjected humor where appropriate. The churchill
Wonderful tour. The guide was well informed. The group was just the right size so that everyone had ample opportunity to ask questions. The Churchill War Rooms were awe inspiring. Could really picture the activities going on in those desperate times. Recommending to friends as a must experience activity.

Early Access Crown Jewels: Complete Tour of Tower of London & Opening Ceremony
It's worth it!
, Jan 2020
This was a great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable. It's worth doing the early access so that you can see the opening ceremony as well as seeing the jewels before the crowds get there. Since you're not allowed to take photographs in the Crown Jewel area, it's nice to be able take your time and look closely. By the time we left, the lines to get in were already across the courtyard.
Have exclusive access to one of London’s most popular and in-demand landmarks, and bypass the crowds, on this VIP tour of the Tower of London. Begin the tour with early, skip-the-line access, and see the tower’s storied opening ceremony. With just a small group for company, you’ll explore the landmark’s highlights. You’ll also be among the first visitors to enter the Tower of London’s world-famous Jewel House, where the glittering Crown Jewels await.
London in One Day Sightseeing Tour Including Tower of London, Changing of the Guard with Optional London Eye Upgrade
One of the best experiences I've ever had!
, Jan 2020
There is nothing you could miss out on this tour. A tour around the city of London and Westminster, the Changing of the Guard, St. Paul's Cathedral, exploration of Trafalgar Square, Tower of London and ferry ride on the River Thames... the day couldn't have been any better. And to top it all, our tour guide Leslie's commentaries were so detailed, clear and enchanting that she left us asking for more. It was a bit upsetting to see her leave after the tour ended. She knows every nook and cranny of the city. Definitely opt for it if you are reading this!
This tour was superb.
Emily our tour guide was amazing. She knew to stand to get the BEST view for the change of guards.
Apart from change of guards, the Tower Of Guard was another highlight for this tour and the stories told by Emily was interesting.
Get to know London in one day on this sight-packed, full-day tour with a guide. Traveling by air-conditioned coach, see top London attractions such as Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, and enjoy fast-track entry and a guided tour of St. Paul's Cathedral. Watch the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, and then visit the Tower of London. Break for a pub lunch, and receive a ticket for a Thames River sightseeing cruise to use after your tour or another day. For a bird's-eye view of the city, upgrade to include a ticket for the London Eye in the evening.
This was an amazing experience! Our guide, Rosie, was fantastic and really kept the tour moving but without sacrificing any details. I learned so much and enjoyed every minute of it! Bypassing the queue is the way to go!
Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament are two of London’s highlight landmarks—and on this tour, you’ll have special access to both. Skip the line at Westminster Abbey and head inside the soaring church, where your guide will share facts about its royal history. Next, you’ll have the rare opportunity to explore parts of the interior of the Houses of Parliament, which is frequently off-limits to the public.
Excellent tour of Westminster Abbey, the tour guide offered an extensive background and history of the Abbey. Unfortunately, the House of Parliament was closed. However, I believe doing both tours would have been a bit much for my group.
Had booked the combo tour of Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The Westminster Abbey was a detailed guided tour. The tour to the Houses of Parliament starts immediately after the first tour ends. There was no time given to do some souvenir shopping inside the Westminster Abbey souvenir shop except a short bathroom break. The tour to the House of Parliament was an audio guide tour and not a guided tour as I was expecting. That was disappointing as it would have been good to have a guided tour inside the Parliament. The tour guide was knowledgeable but the tour could be more engaging rather than rote commentary. Have been on other tours where the guides are more engaged with their tour group. Would recommend other tours that have this package.
Get acquainted with two iconic London monuments on a half-day tour of Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. While gaining fascinating insight into the royal history of Great Britain, absorb the Gothic grandeur of Westminster Abbey’s interior and head inside the Houses of Parliament—home to the renowned Big Ben—to see highlights like the House of Commons and Lord’s Chamber. From your guide, learn about the United Kingdom’s political system and major historic events while touring the prominent landmarks.
London In a Day: Tower of London, Westminster Abbey & Changing of the Guard
Fantastic tour guide!
, Nov 2019
Richard 01....was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and a great communicator. His comments observations, and historical perspective gave us great insight into the history of England. I would definitely recommend his guided tour to anyone. When in England....book Richard The First!
So glad I took this tour. It was so worth it. This was my 2nd time in London and I was dismayed at how much I missed the first time. Watching the guards in action was one of them. The guide know when and where to position ourselves. Our guide was excellent. So sorry I did not catch his name, but he was very knowledgable and had an excellent sense of humor. We actually sat and listened while he enthralled us with history and stories. Some people even stopped and listened in. He went above and beyond and you can tell he clearly love his job. I saw and learned so many things. Thank you so much. Job well done.
Gina paid close attention to the individual interests if the group and pointed those items of interest out to those people. It was a great day walking London and Gina was a seasoned veteran at navigating and storytelling. Highly recommended.
Limited time in London doesn’t have to mean a limited view of the capital. Soak up the key sights in just one action-packed day on this guided small-group tour. Explore Westminster Abbey and watch the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace. Then cruise the Thames River to Tower Bridge and explore its inner workings before delving into British history at the Tower of London.
Fist time using Viator and would definitely recommend. Lovely small tour on a comfortable minibus. Graham our driver and information centre was excellent and friendly. We visited Bibury, Bradford and then Oxford. Bibury was beautiful for photos and a quick walk. Bradford has a gorgeous church and lovely shops with delicious cream tea. Oxford was amazing and spent the entire time sightseeing and exploring the city. Very reasonable priced tour. Thank you for a great day!
Let me just start by saying Graham was the best guide. He was very funny and make the long drive fun. The sites we breath taking and worth every penny. I was a tiny bit disappointed that we didn't stop in Bampton since it was one of the villages listed in the tour description. Other than that I would do this tour again and again. Even my husband who hates going on tours said that this was is favorite part of our trip.
The University City of Oxford and the idyllic countryside of The Cotswolds are two of the most popular day trips from London, but visiting on a large group tour can mean less time to explore. This full-day small-group tour ensures a personalized experience, with free time to admire Oxford landmarks like the Bridge of Sighs, Christchurch Cathedral, and the Ashmolean Museum, and visit the villages of Burford and Bibury.
We signed up for a guided tour as we wanted to learn more than we would by just doing the self-guided tour. We met our guide Becky at the appointed time and place and spent an incredible 2 and 1/2 hours seeing highlights of the Museum. She was a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable and upbeat, and so full of great information. We could not have been any more pleased with her or the tour.
London’s British Museum is home to a staggering collection of 8 million items, some dating as far back as the prehistoric age. Make sure you see the best of this British Museum by taking this private 2 to 2.5-hour tour of the cultural institution. Alongside an engaging tour guide, you’ll visit a curated section of cultural and artistic works that represent the diversity of the museum’s collection: see samurai armor, the Rosetta Stone and 2 million year-old tools. This private tour gives you the chance to customize your itinerary according to your interests.
This tour was absolutely worthwhile for us. The smaller group made it seem more intimate.
We all met at the Hard Rock London where the fun began. We first made a services stop to get food and beverage for the day so that we could have a picnic on the lawn at Highclere. After Highclere, we drove through the countryside until we got to the Yew Tree Farm where we spent lots of time exploring the gardens, the house and the barns. The cafe was a great place to end the tour with a tea.
Afterwards, we took country roads to some other scenic sites from the show - I'll leave those as surprise extras for you. We eventually landed in Bampton, where we were able to tour the village, the church, the library and visit local shops.
Highclere was the eventual highlight of the day where we did a tour of the house (tip: dont do this first, explore the grounds, have a drink, eat your lunch), toured the grounds, visited the exhibit in the basement and took lots of pictures.
Thank you to International Friends, and especially Amber and Richard and the staff at Yew Tree and Highclere.
Amber was a fantastic tour guide, chock full of humor, information, anecdotes, stories and insider tips for us. Our driver, Richard, was also fantastic, navigating the roads like a professional and getting us to our destinations safe, sound and on-time.

Jack the Ripper Tour with 'Ripper-Vision' in London
Entertaining and knowledgeable
, Feb 2020
Johnny, our guide, is such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Ripper expert. Perfectly dressed for the event, and a perfect level of humour that offsets the grim reality of what actually happened to the poor victims.
Mick was so outstanding! An expert, very passionate about his topic, personable, friendly, helpful, and theatrical to boot! I shouldn't have even deliberated on this one and I'm so glad I went! Even with a very large group he was easy to hear and gave personal attention to each. He made the streets come alive! I couldnt believe the dates and details he could rattle off not just about Jack but serial killers in general, without notes! The pubs in the area are great too
Jamie did a wonderful job; he had his information down cold and was highly knowledgeable. The tour has a definite feminist slant to it, which is incredibly refreshing and makes the whole thing more poignant.
Dare to discover the legend of London’s notorious Jack the Ripper on a tour like no other! Using state-of-the-art RIPPER-VISION™, innovative hand-held projectors help to recreate the atmosphere of Victorian London using spooky images, film clips and moving images. Downton Abbey Village, Blenheim Palace and Cotswolds Day Trip from London
Downton Abbey and Citswolds + Blenheim Palace a HUGE disappointment!
, Nov 2019
The Cotswolds and Downton Abbey sites were marvelous. Kevin, our guide was very pleasant and a knowledgeable story teller. While Bleneim Palace was impressive, the art exhibit of dead animals, horrific images, and spooky 2nd floor exhibits pretty much ruined the experience. I'm pretty sure Winston Churchill, who didn't want people walking on top of him, and therefore wasn't buried at Westminster Abbey, would be insulted and horrified by this exhibit.
We so enjoyed this excursion out of the city. Andy Jackson was our guide. His wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm enhanced this tour. The stop in the Cotswolds was a charming village with lots of dining and shopping options. It was fun to see the Downton Abbey Village as a fan of the program. The highlight of the tour was Blenheim Palace. Steve handled the bus expertly and was quick to assist passengers on and off.

Lastly, explore the pretty village of Bampton to see some of the locations where the much-loved TV series, ‘Downton Abbey’, was filmed, and enjoy time for lunch here before returning to London.
This was an excellent day-long bus tour to the Midlands. Warwick Castle is an eye opener as a genuine Norman castle. Stratford upon Avon us a delight and the focus on Shakespeare is both interesting and enlightening. Oxford is always a treat. The guide was both informative, interesting and very approachable. An accommodating driver added to the experience. A very worthwhile tour.

Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford Day Trip from London
, Feb 2020
It was ta good trip our trip guide Richard was a good guy he did his job good the only thing that I did not like was they charge for WiFi even they said it’s free other wise as long as the driver and the guide concern it was good plus we were told that lunch will be provided but no lunch
I loved this trip! I was by myself and get comfortable the entire time. Tour duo Leslie and James were great. They made expectations very clear and were full of fun facts and knowledge. This was a great glimpse at a few big sites around England. Would recommend for anybody looking for some fun sight seeing.

Royal London Walking Tour: Early Access Tower of London & Changing of The Guard
So worth it!
, Oct 2019
The last time we came to London, the line to get into the tower was over 2 hours long - I so wish we had known about the early access tickets! We were able to get up close and personal with the jewel exhibits, armour, and other pieces without feeling rushed our crowded. We got some amazing pictures of the winding alleyways throughout the tower with not a single person in them. It was an amazing time. Our boat tour and walking tour around Buckingham was charming, due to Amber's personality and knowledge of all things London. She is a great asset to your company and this city!
Amber was a great tour guide, and very entertaining! She was super informative and energetic. We learned so much in a seemingly short amount of time. Getting early access to the Tower and the cruise down the Thames alone made this tour worth the price. I also liked that it was only a half day, leaving ample time to squeeze other attractions and activities that day; definitely a good choice if you're only in London a short amount of time like we were.
Royal London Walking Tour of Tower of London and Changing of the Horse Guards
, Oct 2019
Amber was fantastic with her knowledge of the history of London, and cruise of the Thames. We got early access to the Tower and Crown Jewels. Missed the crowds by taking the Viator tour. Buckingham Palace, and changing of the horseguards was great! Amber was very knowledgeable and patient with those who had difficulty walking.

Had a lovely time on this day trip to The Cotswolds. Lucy was a great guide and very knowledgeable.

The day trip was amazing! We had a wonderful tour guide in Steve who shared the history of the many areas we drove through on our way to Stonehenge. The transportation was fantastic and the length of travel coupled with the smooth ride allowed for some much needed shut eye.
When we arrived at Stonehenge, we were in awe. There was so much more to area than what can be explained through articles or television specials. It was truly wonderful.
After visiting Stonehenge we were off to Bath. This is, with all seriousness, a destination not to be missed when traveling to England. To be standing in the very area of the Romans and learning of the historical significance of the city was not to be missed. Steve provides a short walk around the city explaining the uniqueness of its construction and the many changes that occurred through the years.
After hours of touring the Roman baths and walking the city, it was time to leave. Rachel met us on time and carefully transported us back to London.
Don’t miss out on this trip. Our family has been known to attempt too many stops fearing we may miss out on something, but this was perfect. We highly recommend this day trip and hope you are similarly impressed.

were in the group. I highly recommend it!

Buckingham Palace Tour Including Changing of the Guard Ceremony
Buckingham Palace Tour Including Changing of the Guard
, Nov 2019
I am rating this three stars. Good-The leader ensure that we had a great spot to see the changing of the guard. This is where it stops for me. Bad-I am older, and needed to use the restroom before starting. There were older people in our group, I made the suggestion to the YOUNGER lead that she should let the folks know that there is a walk, and you would not be able to use the restroom until way after the tour when you finish touring Buckingham Palace.(About two -three hours) She snubbed me. You get guidance through the changing of the guard ceremony and to Buckingham Palace then entry to the Palace. You are on your own afterwards. I am not quite sure we needed the leader.
Nathan was an excellent tour guide, and he gave us lots of very detailed information. He was very thorough, and made it a pleasant afternoon on a cool day. We really enjoyed the self guided tour of the palace with all it's grandeur and history.

Our Spanish guide got sick at the least minute, and the operator was so kind to get us a new guide overnight.
Even thought Marguerite is not a Spanish-speaking guide, (she does Italian, German and English) she was wonderful. She was on time, friendly and so very professional.
She knows SO much about art and history. She knows the museum to the detail. It was delicious to see it with her. The Brit Museum is something you DO NOT want to miss when in London.
Book this tour, with good luck Marguerite will be your tour guide.

Bath, Stonehenge and The English Countryside Day Tour from London
Overall Great Tour!
, Feb 2020
Great experience! The guide and driver were very pleasant and more than willing to make our experience an enjoyable one. The day was just about the perfect length to really get to explore both places.
The only two things I would’ve changed: 1. The drivers cologne was SO strong. It made me a little ill. I think anyone on a bus for so long should limit the cologne/perfume. 2. Would’ve liked 15-30 more minutes in Bath. The time in Stonehenge was perfect.
Other than passengers that were late upon departure which they can do very little about except leave them, I highly recommend this tour.
Rather economical way to visit both Stonehenge and Bath
, Jan 2020
It is a rather cheap way to reach both Stonehenge and Bath. Explanations from the guide were quite poor in terms of historical accuracy (mixing ice ages and neolithic regarding Stonehenge), however, we spent a nice day.
Tick off two UNESCO-listed monuments in one day on this full-day tour of Bath and Stonehenge from London. Escape the city for a scenic drive through the English countryside, stopping to admire the ancient monoliths of Stonehenge and ponder over the significance of the mysterious stone circle. Next, enjoy free time to explore the historic spa town of Bath and visit landmarks like the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent, and Bath Abbey (own expense).
