He gave enough time for us to enjoy just about everything that we want to while on this tour without losing any of it. So we felt really lucky to have him as our guide for this tour. This tour was fabulous from start to finish.
we took the lesser known route into Angkor Wat, met no-one until we were actually at the small make waiting for the sun to come up.
The guide was very informative and looked after us throughout.

Soyra was a delightful
Host . It was a really pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning .I thoroughly enjoyed the Cambodian market and the food was wonderful .Fresh ingredients simply cooked and tasted wonderful .
From going to local market and getting supplies from local people to getting to beautiful open terrace for cooking, experience guidelines from Sorya!! Really great way to meet local ways of living. Highly recommend
I actually enjoyed this cooking class! The visit to the market was extremely different from western culture. The kitchen space at the house was lovely! I learned some new tricks and recipes! The host was awesome

Sunset Dinner on Tonle Sap Lake with a Floating Village Tour
, Jan 2020
Really enjoyable trip. Picked up on time from the hotel, interesting tour of a lotus farm before riding in the river boat around the floating village. Lovely stop for sunset on a beautiful old ship, great drinks and food before the trip back. Your was excellent and a great experience.
Overall I felt as if the tour was rushed and a lot of time wasn’t spent at the places we stopped. We were so far from the floating villages while “passing by”. I would have to say my expectations def didn’t meet reality. I wish we could’ve got closer or spent some time there. However, the sunset was amazing from the boat while eating. The unlimited drinks were a great bonus! The bartender was so cute, I had to tip him personally. Reminded me of a cute lil grandpa
Thanks for a lovely tour! Everything, from food and drinks to the lake visit was top quality.
We were mostly impressed with the tour guide! He told us a lot of things about Khmer culture that we didn't know. Only think I would suggest to dismiss is the crocodile farm, I think we shouldn't support this kind of "animals for entertainment / tourism" initiatives.
Besides that, it was one of the best tours we have been to, a beautiful memory from Cambodia we would never forget.
Experience the magic of Tonle Sap Lake at twilight on this romantic 4-hour dinner cruise from Siem Reap, including hotel pick-up. First, enjoy a small boat cruise around the floating village, lotus fields and crocodile farms of Chong Khneas. Then, board the Taras floating restaurant for a delicious buffet dinner and enjoy unlimited cocktails as you watch the sunset over the lake.
I only had 24 hours in Angkor Wat, so I booked a private sunrise tour -- it was everything I hoped for. My guide ("curly") was the perfect balance of knowledgeable, firm but flexible about what I wanted to do, they arrived exactly on time, thought through the order of temples to visit to best navigate crowds, and he gave me time to eat breakfast between temples AND to stop and meditate for 10 minutes at the last one. It was really the best of this kind of tour and money extremely well spent. Thanks!
Our guide T was great. He explained a lot and asked if we want to know more or not. He showed us the most important temple and stopped everywhere we wanted. He also knew the best photo places and helped us. Thanks again! We had a great time!!
We had a pleasant tour with Sam our guide. We would highly recommend this tour and our guide. He was funny, informative and made sure we all were comfortable. He also was experienced with the best photo op sites at the temples. Thank you Sam and good luck to you
The best time to see Angkor Wat for the first time is undoubtedly at sunrise. Experience the UNESCO World Heritage Site at its most magical during a private sunrise tour that ensures you make it to the temple in time. Your guide provides insider knowledge about the culture and history of the area, and transports you between attractions in air-conditioned comfort.
Highly recommended this tour to anybody visiting Siem reap. A good chance to see all the main temples on the area in one day. We had a fantastic tour guide who spoke perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable. I forgot to ask him name but would love to say thankyou one more time. Our driver was also great offering us water and wet towels to combat the heat. Overall couldn't have had a better experience with better people.
Marvel at the UNESCO-listed majesty of Angkor Wat on a full-day trip to the magnificent temple complex from Krong Siem Reap. Alongside your guide, you’ll take a guided tour of Cambodia’s monumental treasure and learn about the temple’s 800-year-old history. Admire prominent features like the enchanting Bayon and the Terrace of the Leper King, and delve into the jungle to see the vine-smothered Ta Prohm temple. Entrance fees and round-trip transport from your Krong Siem Reap hotel is included.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend! Our guide San was very knowledgeable, set a comfortable pace to accommodate all within the group and was very detail oriented when explaining notable things at each site. The tour itinerary was well planned with a comfortable lunch break in the middle -- the restaurant was quite tourist oriented but I'm not sure there are many options within the temple complex.
One minor point of feedback for the tour company: it would be great if they could proactively confirm pickup times the day before via email; we had to call the company and confirm ourselves.
Exploring the UNESCO-listed Angkor Temples is a must for visitors to Siem Reap and this small-group tour ensures a more personalized experience. Exploring the Angkor Temples by motorbike is a fun way to escape the crowds and explore more remote areas of the vast archaeological park. On this tour, visit Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, and Ta Prohm; enjoy spectacular views of Angkor Wat; and admire hidden ruins, pagodas, and lush rice paddies as you drive between the temples and along part of the Great Wall. A delicious Cambodian-style lunch at a local restaurant is also included.
We visited Kmpong Phluk in the dry season so our tour was on foot. Very interesting to see how all the homes were built on stilts. We did have a boat tour out to see Tonle sap Lake and a short canoe ride with a local. It would be worth coming back to see the village during the wet season; it would be completely different. Be sure to take a car or mini van tour, not a tuk tuk. The ride by van was 35 minutes and at some points we saw people having to get out of their tuk tuk and walk up small hill's bcz the tuk tuk couldn't handle the extra weight. Our tour guide Chausan was excellent- try to request him. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our tour.
Cruise Tonle Sap Lake to Kompong Phluk on a half-day tour from Siem Reap, and explore the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. See communities that thrive at the edge of the water, pass floating schools and markets, and visit a local home to get a glimpse of daily life and culture. This half-day Kompong Phluk tour includes all activities, as well as pickup and drop-off at Siem Reap hotels, and both morning and afternoon departures are available.
This was a good trip overall to get out of the busy city. Beautiful country side. But the guide did not share much about the area, and I had to look up most of what we saw on the internet when we got back to the hotel. There was also a money issue at the local restaurant, the guide was worthless and did not help.

2-Day Angkor Wat Small, Big Circuit and Banteay Srei Tour
From $103 (Price varies by group size )
, Jan 2020
Sam was amazing in providing a private tour and insights into the history of ankor wat. The second day of temple is a must as well and the guide adapted to spending more or less time where we preferred :) The customer service was exceptional in also arranging to pick us up from the airport on the first day instead of the hotel for an small fee. Would highly recommend this tour and our guide and driver Sam 1 and Sam 2!
So easy, fun and great to see to many temples it really took the stress out of us having to organise it and know which temples were best to see etc. Guide was so knowledgeable and gave a real insight into the history and life in Cambodia !
We loved this 2 day guided tour of the Siem Reap temples with our wonderful guide Sokheim Neim and courteous driver, Sril. We learned about the history, architecture, religion and community and social life of a number of the extraordinary temples in the Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom cities. As it was so hot, it was fantastic to come back from a 2 hour temple visit to a comfortable air conditioned car, cool towels and cold water. "Pappa" Niem was informative and interesting, and he and the driver were always professional and punctual, even at 5am for the sunrise over Angkor Wat. Really enjoyed this tour.
Day tours to the Angkor Archeological Complex often rush through the two circuits on offer, which means that you don’t have the time to truly appreciate the history around you. Make the most of the sights on this private tour to the complex, spread out over two days. On the first day, enjoy the temples and ruins on the Small Circuit, including Ta Prohm and Ta Nei. Start the second day with sunrise views of Angkor Wat before exploring the temples on the Big Circuit.

Average trip, best parts were a good tour guide (Vanna), sunset on the boat and open bar. Food is average and the boat ride is nothing spectacular. You ride down a pretty dirty river with another 30 or so boats doing similar tours. The actual floating villages were neat to see as well.
Not bad - but please do not set your expectation too high!

The wooden boat is smaller compared to what I have expected. Guide explained very routinely on the car drive on the way from hotel and jetty, than nothing more on the boat. I would suggest the guide to use microphone and explained more things along the waterway. We did make a stop at crocodile farm to look at the few dozens of crocodiles piling in a narrow pit and moved on, finally reaching to the two-storeyed Queen Tara boat, the bigger boat to serve food and sunset view. At least, food and drinks are fine and view is spectacular. I am just comparing with sunset cruise at Laung Prabang in Laos which provides better vessel, cuisines and tour guide, as well as community entertainment on the way - at a relatively lesser rate.
Exploring the floating villages of Tonle Sap Lake is a popular choice for a day trip from Siem Reap, but the most atmospheric time to visit is at sunset. On this evening tour, cruise to the floating village of Chong Khneas, glide past lotus fields and stilted houses, visit a crocodile farm, and enjoy a typical Cambodian lunch at a floating restaurant with an open bar.
Check off all Siem Reap’s signature historic attractions in one action-packed day on this private tuk-tuk tour tailor-made for time-pressed travelers. Skip the haggling hassles and enjoy the attentions of your own private guide as you tour Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, Ta Nei, and Banteay Kdei. Tour includes door-to-door round-trip transfers and guide but excludes entrance fees.
Set off early and beat the tour groups on this day trip to Phnom Kulen National Park, the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. On this private tour, enjoy waterfalls and swimming holes and explore landmarks like the reclining Buddha at Preah Ang Thom and the River of 1000 Lingas without the strict schedules or stressful crowds of a large tour group. In the afternoon, visit the majestic pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei and get stunning photos to take back home.
Our guide Mr. Sin Peng Eang was delightful. Picked up at time stated, warm welcome and comfortable van. Mr Sin was knowledgable and enthusiastic and made the day whizz by. The sights of Angkor are amazing and this was a great way to see them in a relatively short time. Lunch very tasty. Yes it was very warm, but there is iced water and wet wipes each time you return to the van. Also toilet breaks! Highly recommend.
You need to visit the temples with an amazing guide named Mr Sok Chea ! He is one the finest guide I have ever came across. From the history of the temples to taking amazing pictures, he is just perfect. Plus we were a nice lil group of 6 people. Perfect tour for a short stay in Siem reap.
This was a fantastic trip - Sin was a great guide with lots of interesting facts and knowledge! I could not believe how different each of the temples was, and was so grateful to get the opportunity to see some of these world heritage sites!
The UNESCO-listed Angkor Archeological Site is a highlight of any visit to Cambodia, with temples and sculptures that sprawl across 150 square miles (400 square km.). This full-day, small-group tour makes it possible to explore the complex in one day with a professional historian guide. In addition to visiting Angkor’s architectural highlights, take in jungle-shrouded buildings.
Love the arrangement of this tour which take you to enjoy both sunrise and sunset at Angkor Wat. The itinerary of our tour was very well planned. We didn't feel crowded most of the time and was able to take beautiful pictures without a lot of people around. Highly recommend this tour!
Visiting Angkor Wat at sunrise means you’ll have cooler temperatures and less crowds. Plus, the temple is more majestic at dawn. A dedicated guide accompanies you to the main structures of the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park on this private tour. After Ta Prohm and Prasat Banteay Kdei, relax with free time at your hotel before an afternoon tour of the Angkor Thom complex and linger for the sunset.
Visit sunrise outside of Angkor Wat with enter the great temple in darkness from the western side and soak up the atmosphere of dawn at Angkor, from the edge of one of the ancient library pools.
Spend your day with temple-hopping with your local guide to make the most of your visit to the world-famous Angkor complex, built between the 9th and 13th centuries when the Khmer empire was the pre-eminent influence in South-East Asia.
