This tour transports you to English vineyards set in beautiful countryside where you will experience a guided tour of the vineyard and learn how wine is produced. You will be able to sample and purchase wine without the worry of driving! You will visit the UK's largest single estate producer of Organic English Wine where you will be shown around the vineyards and winery before tasting their award winning English Sparkling Wine and Rose. The next winery is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and uses the ancient traditional method of wine production. Again you will learn about winemaking from grape to glass before sampling their wines with quirky labels. Finally you'll visit a small brewery, The Three Legs Brewing Company. Lunch is included in the tour. Please note, if any of the above vineyards are unavailable for tours on a specific date we will substitute for an alternative vineyard. Once at the vineyard you will probably join with others on the vineyard tour.
Enjoy a few drinks and relax as I show you around this magnificent city - including stops in some of the most interesting and historic pubs in the world, to see where so many famous figures of the past have spent their student loans. The city of Oxford is commonly considered to be divided into two groups: the Town (local residents) and the Gown (students of the University). While I am currently a ‘townie’, I have been awarded a place to study at Oxford this year - and my fiancé is currently studying a DPhil. This gives me a unique perspective on both sides of the community and the city, and I will share it with you in a tour so entertaining and memorable that you will wish you lived here, or your money back! If you'd like to go into any colleges or other attractions, or if you wish to customise the tour in any other way, please feel free to message me. Group size is flexible. £60 for up to 4 people; £10 per additional person. Drinks not included!
There are few more authentically British experiences than settling into a cosy pub for a pint of beer and a tasty bite to eat. On a Brewery & Pub Tour with Go Cotswolds, you'll experience Britain's long-established pub culture at its best in the heart of England! Starting with a pick-up from Moreton-in-Marsh or Stratford-upon-Avon, we'll whisk you off to the Warwickshire countryside to visit Purity Brewing Co., one of the country's best independent craft beer breweries. Here you'll enjoy a tour of the brewery and, of course, sample their ales! Next, we'll take you to the beautiful Worcestershire village of Bretforton on the edge of the Cotswolds for a delicious lunch and a fascinating talk about the history and stories of the National Trust-owned Fleece Inn. After that, it's off to the pretty Cotswolds town of Chipping Campden for sightseeing or further ale exploration in the town's 5 pubs, and lastly to Ebrington, home of the famous Ebrington Arms, the "best pub in the UK".
