Cu Chi Tunnels: Morning or Afternoon Guided Tour (Ben Duoc Option available)
, Feb 2020
This trip is a must, while staying in Ho Chi Mihn. Everything went smoothly, our guide was very friendly informative. Found the whole experience very interesting. The tunnels are small inside but you can do as little or as much as you wish. The firing range is an optional extra but well worth the experience. Recommend comfortable footwear and mosquito repellent.
Great experience. We did the
Cu Chi Tunnels - Less Touristy Route (Morning). BAUnny was our guide and she was VERY knowledgeable (she knew more than we did about American history). Friendly, helpful and funny. A great day, offered at a great value. Highly recommended.
Great trip. Very informative and gives great insight into how the VC were able to defend and defeat
Our guide sally was terrific. Great English, very knowledgeable and great sense of humour. She also new how to miss the crowds!!!
Thankyou - highly recommend

Great way to see a lot in one day
, Nov 2019

Our family had an excellent trip thanks to our friendly and informative guide, Khao! The trip took almost the entire day but we got to see the countryside and learn many things about Vietnam. It was a great experience and we highly recommend especially for families.

We had a nice time with other tourists who came from different countries. Our guide Fully speaks decent English and he was always willing to learn. We expect more war memory but bit surprised by all the sales of Mekong area's products. For our generation Mekong Delta is a place of sad sentiment and it was only our hope to pray for all the souls both Vietnamese, Americans and others.

Throughly enjoyed this tour. The guide was excellent and very informative. The lunch was bland but if you are taking this tour for the food you have chosen the wrong one. I would recommend this tour if you are looking for a way to see the city and Cu Chi.

A Must Do!
, Dec 2019
This is a tour I highly recommend to anyone wanting to try more of the local food! Its an awesome chance to get on a motorbike and see different parts of the city! The food was amazing and the guides were great! 10/10
My guide, Khang Nguyễn Thanh, took me to five different venues. All were very different from each other, offering a wide range of tastes and influences.
It was great fun to eat with the locals, and get an idea of how Vietnamese people live.
Khang provided cultural context to where we were visiting, and his confident driving skills and good humour made for a great solo night for me.
Getting driven around in the Saigon traffic was an experience I won't soon forget!
Thank you Khang. ("Call me K")
Eat your way through Ho Chi Minh City’s street food scene on this half-day tasting tour, dedicated to local favorites that many culinary tours overlook. Drop in on hole-in-the-wall restaurants, where vendors have spent decades perfecting small but tasty menus. Enjoy eight tastings, including freshly made banh mi, sugar cane drink and sweet soup dessert.
Ted was an excellent guide, he gave a fantastic overview of the historical context and answered our questions (including queries we had related to other potential activities). The price we paid included entrance to the war museum and an iced coffee. The walk wasn't too tiring and the antiques stores were a fun quirky touch. Just to note that Notre dame is not currently open to visitors so you only see the outside.

Visit major attractions like the War Remnants Museum, learn about the city's history, and enjoy a Vietnamese snack. Your private guide also shows you hidden gems you might otherwise miss.
Had a slow start since everyone but me had to get picked up at their respective hotels which takes some time due to traffic. Other than that, it was a fun & informative tour. It's a good introduction to some of the history & culture.
Great tour and full of interesting history learnings. Cu chi was pretty busy but worth the visit to understand what the Vietnamese people went through. The guide was knowledgeable and funny, which made the trip very pleasant !

Small-group Mekong Delta - My Tho & Ben Tre (Day Trip)
From $11.00 (Price varies by group size )
Good for First timers
, Dec 2019
The tour was very good. Well organized, came off without long delays and our guide was from the area so had a little gossip about the family lives. (If you get Danny tip him). For me as a very experienced traveler it was not what I was looking for. We got a little taste of everything but I wanted a long drink from the Mekong!
Well worth the money spent and Asiana really does take care of it's guests.

Mekong Delta Tour with Vinh Trang Pagoda, Rowing Boat Trip & Local Lunch
It was ok, but not great.
, Feb 2020
The tour was ok, but not great. First of all, we booked a tour with a small group which said not more than 15 people, however it was actually 23 people taking part in this tour. This is false advertising. We also were disappointed with the rowing boat „cruise”, it took only 10 minutes, and that was definitely the highlight of this tour. I’d remove bees & python stop and extend the actual Mekong river activities. On the positive note, our tour guide Long was quite informative and friendly. Departure and arrival was on time.
Our tour guide Sally did an amazing job!! The tour was fun, smooth and at the end of the day we weren't as tired as you would imagine. We tried local dishes and listened to traditional music. We had a snake experience, we did cycling plus the boat tour. We saw the coconut candy factory and the bee farm. It is highly recommended ! Do not miss out !!

Full-Day Mekong Delta Bike Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
Wonderful Day in the Mekong Delta
, Sep 2019
An immersive experience in the Mekong Delta with Grasshopper Tours. Our guide Klas was a gem adding to the beauty of the region and friendly locals. The ride portion of the tour is 25km at a gentle pace with plenty of stops to refresh and take photos. The lunch at the completion of the bike ride was fabulous and the boat ride was a relaxing way to end a long day. Everything is taken care of by Grasshopper Tours including bikes, helmet, food, water, refreshments etc. The bikes are of high quality and well maintained. This tour is a great way to experience the Mekong Delta.
Most visitors choose to explore the Mekong Delta by boat, but the scenic canals and lush countryside is also an idyllic backdrop for a bike tour. Get a look at where soldiers lived and fought underground, and learn about the role the tunnels played during the fight against the French in the 1940s and the Vietnam War, aka American War, of the '60s and '70s.
That was a lot of fun, a great experience for us and the children. Our guide, Sugar, provided us with plenty of info about the sites and the city adjusting the schedule to our family needs. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a fun and efficient way to visit HCMC.
This was an amazing trip for us and our friends. Our guide Vincent was very informative and good fun. We saw this vibrant city in a different light, scooting through all the madness on the roads. What an experience! We stopped at various interesting places, including a local market where we purchased fresh fruit for our 2 drivers who were vey appreciative. Thanks for a great day, Vincent. From your Scottish friends.
This was a great way to quickly see some of the main sights in HCMC. Vincente was our guide and Minh was our driver. It was very helpful being able to ask questions both at the sights and as we drove around.

We wanted to visit two of these recommended places and that was covered well without becoming very tired. They also took us to handicapped handicrafts which was very interesting. The food was amazing at Cu chi tunnels. Mekong boat ride was comfortable and they served amazing fruits, coconut candy, honey tea and the local music was nice too.
Mr. Long was a very entertaining and enthusiastic guide. He sounded a lot like Mr. Obama.. We enjoyed his rich information with witty humour. Thank you Mr. Long. We had a wonderful day!!

Private Ho Chi Minh City Shore Excursion from Phu My Port
From $120.45 (Price varies by group size )
, Feb 2020
This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Met was just brilliant, friendly and informative. We had excellent communication before the tour, which I unfortunately did not pick up as the internet on the ship was terrible. However, after reading reviews on this site I did know to meet outside the port gates. I was worried before hand about the timings as Ho Chi Minh City is a large distance from the port. I did not need to be concerned as Met made sure we were back in plenty of time. This was made clear before we even set off!. I would thoroughly recommend this tour for price, comfort. information and most of all enjoyment. Thank you Met.
We had an excellent guide by the name of Andy who was local to the city and knew a lot about the area as well as having a great sense of humour and good English. We also had a separate driver was very good and had a very comfortable air conditioned car.
Andy took us to all the sites that were on the itinerary as well as ones that we asked for such as the Hard Rock Cafe and we cannot praise him more as an excellent guide who kept to the time and itinerary (even if we took longer at some than others!).
If you do this trip then do ask for Andy as he will ensure that you get your money’s worth and have an enjoyable time - highly recommended.
Our city tour with Met from Maximus Tours was perfect. She met our party of 8 at the port in a cool and spacious van. Met was very knowledgeable about all of the important sights to see in Ho Chi Minh City. We had a delicious lunch at a small Vietnamese restaurant that was wonderful. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Met!

Timothy, our guide made the trip an informative and good time, The highlight was the bicycle ride to lunch. It was about 15 minutes on a really good country lane.
Nice surroundings and pleasant views. We also stopped at a traditional brick factory, coconut candy handmade by workers. May weaving was also included along with lunch, and a small boat ride back to our motorized boat on the river,
Hats off to Timothy and my fellow travelers from around the world. A lovely day!
