Awesome value - one of the best organized tours I have ever taken.
, Feb 2020
One of THE BEST organized tours I have ever taken. Great value for the money. Very interesting places chosen to visit. Only minus is that the busses could have charging ports, but I certainly can live with that.
Fantastic value for the money. Interesting visits, good local food, adequate 2 star hotels, enthusiastic, cheerful and informative Gordon as guide. Do it but be prepared fo very full days and early starts.
Value for money for an outstanding Mekong Delta tour
, Nov 2019
Our 3D 2N tour with Viator & TNK Travel was an absolute fun and extra ordinary experience. A total value for money and for this we absolutely and highly recommend this tour to everyone who wishes to visit HCMC across Mekong Delta to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Our tour guide Vank has an exceptional knowledge of Vietnam & Mekong Delta. He is professionally trained and was very helpful the whole time we were with him. Husband & I had a great time and so many precious & happy memories were made with our group which no more than 30 people from all parts of the globe. We made friends with them, laughed with them, ate with them and made loads of fun with them. There were also so many additional activities on this tour that was not mentioned initially on the description of this tour, we were so amazed with the amount of activities we have done and for that we are eternally grateful. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour to all first timers in Vietnam & even those ones who've been but wish to do the Mekong tour again. Thumbs up to all the crew, staff & organisers of Viator & TNK Travel :) Till we meet again :)
Travel the Mekong River from Vietnam to Cambodia on this three-day trip that showcases the best of this iconic destination. Follow a friendly local guide as you make your way through the waters lined with quiet villages, lush tropical foliage and plenty of local life. This memorable tour is one of the best ways to see one of the region's top attractions and is not to be missed!
Had a slow start since everyone but me had to get picked up at their respective hotels which takes some time due to traffic. Other than that, it was a fun & informative tour. It's a good introduction to some of the history & culture.
Great tour and full of interesting history learnings. Cu chi was pretty busy but worth the visit to understand what the Vietnamese people went through. The guide was knowledgeable and funny, which made the trip very pleasant !
Discover Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta are 2 things to do in Ho Chi Minh City
- Located over 50km from Ho Chi Minh city, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for Original tunnels system of 250km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.
- Mekong Delta is known as The Nine Dragon river delta since it is formed by nine rivers. The background of this area is the largest site of endless paddy rice fields, coconut farms, tropical fruit gardens. It is very easy for you to catch sight of children riding on the back of the water buffaloes and farmers working on the fields, trading on the floating markets.

Street Food Ho Chi Minh
, Jan 2020
Su and Mirol guided us on this tour.
They were vibrant, funny and knowledgeable. They have us the Ho Chi Minh street food experience that we expected and the menus tasted were pretty good and certainly satisfying!! We highly recommend this story team!!
Totally enjoyed this tour. All the food was really tasty and the tour guide did a great job showing different types of food and gave some interesting information about some of the places as we were walking.
The street food choices of Ho Chi Minh City can be astounding—and overwhelming. A personal guide makes the decisions and communications easier on this evening walking tour. After a convenient hotel pickup by taxi, savor a menu of delicious dishes washed down with beer and homemade Vietnamese rice wine.
This tour was incredible from start to finish. Danny picked me up from my hotel, and off we whizzed to the many colourful and chaotic districts of Ho Chi Minh. All of the food was amazing, and I really enjoyed the opportunity to cook some food towards the end of the experience.
Danny was an amazing tour guide - his English was impeccable and he was so kind and informative throughout. I really enjoyed his company and his chat!
Loved this tour and couldn't recommend it more!
Thank you Danny!!!
This was a highlight during my Saigon stay. My guide Zac was very friendly and I felt safe on the motorbike with him in the local crazy traffic! We tried 6 different meals in a number of restaurants not just in district 1, but also outside the city centre in more authentic local places. Highly recommend, great way to see local culture and city at night
Our tour guides K and Tony were fun and friendly, taking us around like true locals, teaching us how the locals eat. The food was delicious and memorable, was a easy and tasty was to see the city, defiantly recommend as i would do it again.

Make Your Own Full Day Shore Excursion in Ho Chi Minh City
From $110.33 (Price varies by group size )
Shore Excursion in Ho Chi Minh City
, Feb 2020
We took a shore excursion with this company to visit the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City. We met Bao, our tour guide at the port and noted that it is a 1.5 hour drive to/from the port to Ho Chi Minh City. While there, we visited Chinatown, Beautful Lady Temple, War Renaments Museum, and had coffee on the 50th floor of the Bitco Financial Tower. An elegant lunch was served at the Mandarin Restuarant, which our group totally enjoyed. We also visited a Lacquer factory and took a break to sample Vietnam coffee at a store (tourist traps). Please make note that traffic in the city is very busy so it is important to ensure that you have ample time to return to the port. We arrived 15 minutes before the ship was scheduled to leave. Overall, it was a nice tour and more time is needed to appreciate this city.
Our guide put as much time into his facebook page, or whatever social media link he was using as in introducing us to Ho Chi Minh . Didn't have the knowledge of the city to be able to adapt to our preferences and whilst Tet holiday did create some limitations it was clearly a formula not so much a private tour .Having had first class experiences in Taipei and Manila with Viator this was not of the same standard at all
Our guide, Sarah, was a very enthusiastic young lady and our driver was excellent in the chaotic traffic. Meeting her at the port was easy and our return was prompt. We saw all we wanted with ample time when we wanted. She seemed to know how long we needed at each stop and we never felt rushed. Had a great lunch and later some wonderful Vietnamese coffee. She had us posing for pictures and enjoying it, something we seldom do. We are a couple in our late 60's. We did little shopping at our request but walked through all the markets and could stop where we wished. She was quite knowledgeable about everything and answered all our questions. The new year's celebrations were beginning and we learned so much about that. It was a great day! Thanks, Sarah!
Enjoy a private full-day tour in bustling Ho Chi Minh City, where your guide will take you to some of the best highlights that this shore excursion has to offer. Lunch and attraction entrance fees are included in this tour.

This full-day tour combines a tour of the historic Vietnam War site with a unique spiritual experience at Cao Dai temple in Tay Ninh, plus a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant. We had a nice time with other tourists who came from different countries. Our guide Fully speaks decent English and he was always willing to learn. We expect more war memory but bit surprised by all the sales of Mekong area's products. For our generation Mekong Delta is a place of sad sentiment and it was only our hope to pray for all the souls both Vietnamese, Americans and others.

Private Ho Chi Minh City Shore Excursion from Phu My Port
From $120.45 (Price varies by group size )
, Feb 2020
This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Met was just brilliant, friendly and informative. We had excellent communication before the tour, which I unfortunately did not pick up as the internet on the ship was terrible. However, after reading reviews on this site I did know to meet outside the port gates. I was worried before hand about the timings as Ho Chi Minh City is a large distance from the port. I did not need to be concerned as Met made sure we were back in plenty of time. This was made clear before we even set off!. I would thoroughly recommend this tour for price, comfort. information and most of all enjoyment. Thank you Met.
We had an excellent guide by the name of Andy who was local to the city and knew a lot about the area as well as having a great sense of humour and good English. We also had a separate driver was very good and had a very comfortable air conditioned car.
Andy took us to all the sites that were on the itinerary as well as ones that we asked for such as the Hard Rock Cafe and we cannot praise him more as an excellent guide who kept to the time and itinerary (even if we took longer at some than others!).
If you do this trip then do ask for Andy as he will ensure that you get your money’s worth and have an enjoyable time - highly recommended.
Our city tour with Met from Maximus Tours was perfect. She met our party of 8 at the port in a cool and spacious van. Met was very knowledgeable about all of the important sights to see in Ho Chi Minh City. We had a delicious lunch at a small Vietnamese restaurant that was wonderful. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Met!

I had not had an opportunity to do much research in advance of my stop in Ho Chi Minh City. This tour was a great way to ensure I saw the key historic spots of Ho Chi Minh City. My guide Linda was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch was excellent at a local restaurant. Great value.

Throughly enjoyed this tour. The guide was excellent and very informative. The lunch was bland but if you are taking this tour for the food you have chosen the wrong one. I would recommend this tour if you are looking for a way to see the city and Cu Chi.

Our guide was sweet did her best to make everyone comfortable and was organized. The Mekong river has LOTS of garbage in this area. It was disappointing to see this. I has this vision of seeing sites of beauty but hard to get past all the trash.

That was a lot of fun, a great experience for us and the children. Our guide, Sugar, provided us with plenty of info about the sites and the city adjusting the schedule to our family needs. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a fun and efficient way to visit HCMC.
This was an amazing trip for us and our friends. Our guide Vincent was very informative and good fun. We saw this vibrant city in a different light, scooting through all the madness on the roads. What an experience! We stopped at various interesting places, including a local market where we purchased fresh fruit for our 2 drivers who were vey appreciative. Thanks for a great day, Vincent. From your Scottish friends.
This was a great way to quickly see some of the main sights in HCMC. Vincente was our guide and Minh was our driver. It was very helpful being able to ask questions both at the sights and as we drove around.

Great CU Chi Tour
, Nov 2019
Great day with tour guide, Ben. Van was on time to pick me up. Ben was super friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the tunnels. Water provided on van and ended with Pho dinner at local restaurant in Ho Chi Minh. Van was comfortable as it was a small group tour. It's a bit of a drive to get there with traffic and roads are not that good, FYI. Overall, it was a great day, and you can't beat the price.
My husband and I absolutely loved this tour. An hour into the drive to the tunnels you stop at an Agent Orange Charity Workshop where they make the most exquisite items from duck egg shell and mother of pearl shells. So beautiful and for a good cause as 60% of the profits go to people affected.
The tunnel tour was amazing, eye-opening and fascinating. Our favourite tour in Vietnam!

Despite the traffic in HCM city, we still managed to be back to our accommodation on time. I would definitely recommend this tour to people who would like to visit Cu Chi Tunnels.
