Meet your guide and small group of up to 10 people in central Chiang Mai. Then, set out on a tour of the city’s culinary hotspots, traveling aboard a traditional songthiew (an open-air taxi). The first stop of the day is the Warorot wholesale market, where you can experience the buzzing atmosphere of a local market, and sample an array of delicacies from Northern Thailand.

Pause at a popular restaurant to enjoy a bowl of Khao Soi noodles, another Chiang Mai specialty, then make a stop to see the grand Three Kings Monuments, in the heart of the Old City. The morning’s menu isn’t finished yet—there’s still time to tuck into savory chicken and rice, and sample Thailand’s famous mango sticky rice.

Avoid at all cost . The guide didn't...

Avoid at all cost . The guide didn't teach us anything. When asked how long he was doing this he said 4-6 years. You can do this on your own and get more out of it . Every time we pick up a fruit or something and wanted to try it we couldn't and he looked bothered at telling us what it was.
