Your tour begins with hotel pickup in the morning for the drive to your first stop, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. With your guide, discover the historical and architectural details of this final resting place of Vietnam's former leader, and see his house on stilts, which sits next door.

Next, check out One Pillar Pagoda, founded in 1049; visit Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake for a look at one of the country's oldest Buddhist pagodas; and see local pottery at Bat Trang village (Mon, Wed, and Fri only).

After this, visit a restaurant for your set-menu lunch, and then continue your tour at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (except Mon, Wed, and Fri), followed by a stop by the Temple of Literature and National University, Vietnam's first university, dating back to 1070. Admire its architecture and gardens before you're taken past the Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem Lake) to admire its pretty setting and Ngoc Son (Temple of the Jade Mountain).

Your last destination is the Old Quarter, where the streets are named for historical trades. Enjoy some free time to shop and explore before your Hanoi tour ends in the late afternoon with hotel drop-off.

Good tour, the guide was very nice and knew a lot. Lunch was reallt tasty. Only the weather was disappointing
Not a tour I would choose
, Mar 2020
The morning started with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which was closed for the day. Not a glimpse of the Old Citadel while driving by. After that a glimpse of one pillar Pagoda and lunch. Most of the afternoon was spent at a pottery place. We concluded the tour at 14.50 hours. Not a single museum was included. A hopeless waste of time and money. I had been on other Viator tours but compared to those this is a total write off.
The whole day.

It was a city tour, went to the old prison, temples and tried their authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Don't visit Hanoi in August, the weather is way too hot and humid!
Was ok

David was a great guy. He did a good job. Overall, the wasn’t punctual I wasted at the lobby for 1 hr. The tour itself wasn’t that brilliant setup. Might need reorganise to be better.

Dear our clients, We are glad to know that you mostly enjoyed the tour. A city break is designed for those who either first came to Hanoi or had tight time in Vietnam. Most of top-rated attractions and landscapes are included. In fact, there is still room for improvement, especially with a group tour. We thank you for coming to Hanoi, Vietnam. Thanks a lot for your feedback. Hope to see you later. Thank you very much. Jason Nguyen. From Gray Line Halong Cruise with LOVE.

I really had a great time! I couldn't believe I found a tour for this price. Our tour guide English name was Mr. Lucky. It was also his birthday. It was a great tour. I highly recommend it. I was picked up and dropped off near my hotel. The food choice for lunch was also great. I will definitely use Viator for future trips. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
