Depart from your centrally located hotel in a luxurious, air-conditioned coach and begin your tour by heading to Chinatown and wandering through the fascinating back streets near Cho Lon and Binh Tay. This area is one of the busiest commercial districts of Ho Chi Minh City and its atmospheric streets are home to some of the city’s most interesting sites.

Next, absorb the sacred atmosphere of the Thien Hau temple, a revered structure built in the 19th century and dedicated to Thien Hau, goddess of the seafarers. Head next to the Ben Thanh Market to peruse stalls bursting with exotic produce; practice your language skills and hear of the market’s history from your knowledgeable guide.

After visiting the markets, you will stop at Fito Museum that showcases over 3000 artifacts relating to the tradition of Vietnamese medicine.

Revitalize with a traditional Vietnamese lunch of pho and then venture to the War Remnants Museum to see a selection of antique military equipment. Marvel at enormous exhibits like a UH1-Huey helicopter and an F5A fighter in the courtyard and then stroll to the Reunification Palace to see an impressive tableau of Vietnamese architecture.

Admire the French colonial facades of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera house, and the General Post Office before bidding your guide and group farewell in this central location. Continue exploring the area independently or take a taxi back to your hotel with assistance from your guide.

Good way to get and overview of Ho Chi Minh City
, Mar 2020
Our time with Bic as our guide was very pleasant and she is very knowledgeable about the city and the culture. The experience provided a good cross-section of landmarks, markets, war museum, and food. It was a great tour to start our exploration and improve our understanding of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnamese.
Good itinerary and great guide.

Our guide Bic was just the best. Friendly, enthusiastic and a genuine pleasure to be with. Really knowledgeable but not one of those guides who bores you with too much! She tailored the tour to our interests and happily answered our questions. We were sad when the tour ended and we had to say goodbye to her. The itinerary was a good mix of things to see to get a feel of this fascinating city.
A great way to see the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City

I had not had an opportunity to do much research in advance of my stop in Ho Chi Minh City. This tour was a great way to ensure I saw the key historic spots of Ho Chi Minh City. My guide Linda was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch was excellent at a local restaurant. Great value.
Some parts of the itinerary are unnecessary

The tour was good but visit to the medical museum and the temple in Chinatown was boring and totally unnecessary. Better to make it a half day tour rather than dragging the end till 3.30pm by including the two useless and boring visits.
Well worth it

Thanh was a delightful guide who had a wealth of facts and figures. We got to see a couple of things we would not have found ourselves. Only 5 of us in the group. A great first day in HCM as it reaĺly gave me my bearings.

Punctual, great tour. We only had two and a half days in Saigon and this was a great way to see the city. Rating would be 5 stars if the guide and minibus had available drinking water. When it is 35 degrees in Saigon with humidity through the roof there has to be cold water either included in the tour price or for sale in the minibus. Only criticism.

This is a fantastic tour - Linda was amazing - her knowledge was incredible we enjoyed it so much. We only had three people on the tour and it was fabulous - we enjoyed hearing about the history of the Vietnam war as well as seeing so many sights of the city and enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. Thankyou for a most enjoyable day - would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a snapshot of the city in a day.

We learnt a lot about Ho Chi Min city and Vietnam from this tour. The Guide was informative and very helpful. Great if you have limited time in the city because you see a lot in the day, and in air-conditioned comfort.
