We were bummed bc our hotel was out of range for pick up, so we got no discount for not needing a ride AND we had to get a grab. We were told to be there at 8 and we arrived at 7;40. The bus didn’t come and didn't vine. They said traffic was bad. ALERT traffic is always bad inHCMC. it finally got there, we boarded and we sat, and sat and sat. Why bc a family wasn’t there yet and there were 12 of them. So frustrating. Be on time or we should have left. After potty break guess who were the only people NOT on bus on time? You guessed it the same family. I say leave them! Hau is great guide but a bit full of himself. Some stories were a far bit from the truth. He was kind though. Was very “touristy” unlike other trips we’d taken in N Vietnam. This was not a hard sell but a sales job none the less. I actually wouldn’t recommend this unless you really have your heart set on this region. Otherwise it was just so so.
