I had such a fun evening with a young tour guide of Saigon Kiss Tours! During my three week trip to Vietnam, the experience with this women empowerment team stands out among all. When I came downstairs from my hotel room, my guide was already waiting for me in the lobby which gives me a good impression of their punctuality. We then hopped on the back of the scooter and headed away for our adventure. I loved weaving amongst the chaotic traffic and felt completely safe for the whole four hours of fun. We visited a number of very local, very authentic Vietnamese local places. We also visited District 2 to look back on the views of District 1. The whole evening was simply perfect! My female tour guide Nat spoke excellent English, were bright-minded, knowledgeable and heaps of fun. Very impressive! If there is one thing that is a must-do in Saigon, this is it! Keep up the great work my girls, you're awesome! Such a fantastic night of memories! I whole-heartedly recommend it!
There was some confusion at the start of our tour, as apparently the guides had just been hired at the last minute and arrived late. Also, we were expecting all female guides but one was a male, not that it was a big deal, but not what we expected. They said we must have just scheduled the tour for them to be called with so little notice, but that actually wasnt the case. We had purchased it far in advance. Anyway, the tour itself was a lot of fun, but if you are scared of crazy driving, this isnt for the faint of heart. You will have at least a dozen near-death experiences on the road. The food is all true Vietnamese street food and you sit at tiny chairs and tables in alleys, next to the locals. The girls were very friendly and chatty while the one guy guide was a bit less so. All in all, Id recommend doing a foodie motorbike tour, but maybe with a bit better organized company.
