Kia ora from New Zealand, Auckland! Watanabe san and Keiko san were such awesome hosts and made the tour fun and informative. You both did a great job and thank you for making this tour worthwhile. Recommended to those of you visiting Japan in the future. The only feedback was I thought we might walk through Kyoto "live" for a little bit/maybe. However, these two ladies made up for this with their wit, smiles, personal stories, humour and simple 101 but information about the city. Highly recommended especially if these two are your hosts. The virtual tour with Minako and Keiko was a fabulous experience. Of course we would have preferred to be in person walking the streets of Kyoto; but since that wasn't an option being able to get a sense of the city, in terms of its history and key sights was perfect. It gave us an excellent overview of this special place. I signed us up to do it as a family, with both sets of grandparents as part of a my 17-year olds birthday celebration. He is obsessed with Japan! Minako and her team sang him happy birthday and she prepared a slide deck with pictures of the sights mixed in with photos of him that I'd sent in advance. It was so thoughtful, and made the experience that much more memorable!

After 3+ months of self-isolation, this gift of a virtual tour from my wife for Father's Day was genius! Aki and Minako, joined by Kiaro(sorry?) and Samurai Joe(!!!), made the virtual tour fun, engaging, and colorful. I enjoyed the attention of being the only guest, but sorry that more people didn't sign up. I plan to visit Kyoto in a future trip I'm planning to Japan and hope to meet Aki and Minako in person! It was a wonderful way to "get out of the house" -- a true escape!
