Returns to original departure point
Make your way to the London Dungeon and join the queue. As you cross the threshold, allow yourself to be transported back to the most grisly periods of London’s long history—all based on true events! Top-notch theatrical actors greet you at every turn, reenacting disturbing histories such as Jack the Ripper’s murderous rampage through the Whitechapel slums and Sweeney Todd’s to-die-for coiffure. Come face-to-face with the bloodthirsty barber—and butcher—of Fleet Street, but try to keep your head and not end up in a meat pie!

As you make your way through the dungeons, experience highlights (or lowlights) of London’s history through exceptional stages and special effects. Rile at the smells and sights of the plague and experience the doomed fate of Henry VIII’s victims as you ride through Traitors’ Gate to your death. Learn about the Great Fire of 1666, and discover the absurdity of 18th-century prosecution in an entertaining simulated trial—complete with a mad judge! (Please see full list of attractions in the Itinerary below; subject to change)

Don't leave without taking a heart-stopping ride on Drop Dead: Drop Ride! Test your nerve as you become a victim at the gallows. At the mercy of the hangman, experience the final moments of terror and the spike of adrenaline as the floor opens and you plummet into darkness!

End your visit with a stop into the Tavern. Soak up the spectacle of 19th-century London revelry as you sip on a beer, gin cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage (one drink included with admission; additional drinks available for purchase).

Please note: This ticket is only available for purchase online and guarantees entry to the London Dungeon. Tickets purchased at the door will require you to book for the next available slot, which could be much later in the day.
Itinerary
Stop At:
The London Dungeon
The London Dungeon is a uniquely thrilling attraction that will whisk you way back to the capital’s most perilous past. See, hear, feel and (ahem) smell the chillingly amusing characters of the ‘bad old days’ as they come to life before you. Brave the Tyrant boat ride as you journey down the Thames in the dark to meet your fate. Step inside Sweeney Todd’s infamous barber shop on Fleet Street and let him give your life a short back and sides. Then tread cautiously through the streets of Whitechapel, as Jack the Ripper could be lurking just around the corner… You probably think you’ll be safe after that but there’s also the small matter of the Plague, a vengeful Henry VIII and his Executioner and the Torturer who would really like you to talk. Then, you’ll be sentenced for your crimes (guilty of course) and sent to Newgate Prison to hang, on Drop Dead: Drop Ride. On the off chance you survive all of that, you’ll round off your journey with a visit to the Dungeon Tavern; hear the latest gossip with the locals! -------------------- ITINERARY -------------------- • An unmissable live walk through experience • Full on 360 sets with gripping storytelling • 19 interactive shows, 20 live actors, 1000 years of history • State of the art theming and special effects • 2 thrilling underground rides • From Jack the Ripper to Sweeney Todd, The Plague to the Great Fire of London – it’s cutting edge storytelling at Its best! • Allow 110 minutes for this experience

Let too many people in at once. Even though we had booked a slot we had to queue for 45mins once in through the main doors. Son couldn't see half of the goings on as people all crowded at the front and we couldn't see

    Too crowded, and too slow.

The queue was entirely too long and the group sizes too big to get through the experience. We spent most of the time standing and waiting which, unfortunately, made for a bad experience. I would not recommend this when there are so many better experiences in downtown London!

I thought for the price paid it was pretty poor. Needed more drama and fright to elevate it with more shocks along the way

Stinks of urine, not great actors, not value for money

The first thing that welcomes you as you enter the Dungeons is the stench of urine I'm assuming from the street above as this Connor be part of the experience this continues for maybe the first 15 - 20 mins of the attraction, I heard a number of people comment on this, For me it ruined the experience, taking that out of it the whole attraction is not a patch on the Edinburgh or Blackpool dungeons having visited both, the ride at the end is excellent but again £20 for 2 photos is a rip off you feel pressured into for the kids sake, Poor show all round

The last ride at the end. It was very scary & it left us all on a high! The whole 90 minutes was entertaining however it was a little on the expensive side for 4 adults & 2 children!

My daughter (13 year old) and I loved every minute of our experience at London Dungeons! It was planned, performed and guided very well including snap shots of History, a bit of humour but lots of opportunities to spook us but then laugh. The boat trip was especially spooky for us as it was only the two of us! Great experience, we highly recommend it! Thank you!
