  • Begin in central London when you hop inside your comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Meet your friendly, local guide, and then sit back and enjoy the sights on a panoramic drive around the heart of this historical city.

See the iconic Big Ben and Houses of Parliament in Parliament Square, and snap pictures of Westminster Abbey where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married in a grand ceremony in April 2011.

Then, gaze up at Nelson’s Column in buzzing Trafalgar Square, and drive to Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Walk to the palace gates to watch the Changing of the Guard. Look on in delight as the soldiers of the Queen’s Foot Guard, clothed in red tunics and bearskin hats, exchange duties to the regal music of a military band, and learn about this centuries-old ceremony from your guide.

Next, continue by coach to a cozy London pub in Trafalgar Square. Sit down to a tasty lunch (own expense) and then pick up your tour again in the City of London. Located east of the West End, and famous for its financial institutions, this history-steeped district is home to the Bank of England and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Hop out for fast-track entry and a guided tour of St. Paul's Cathedral.

Afterward, pay a visit to the Tower of London, the medieval prison-fortress that stands on the north banks of the Thames River. Head inside to explore independently, and learn about the tower’s blood-soaked history. Founded in the 1080s by William the Conqueror, this imposing complex has served as a palace, armory, prison and execution site, and is known for its ravens and colorful Beefeater guides.

If you wish, join one of the complimentary Beefeater tours that run regularly from inside the gates. Learn about the famous events that took place here, and hear some of the mysteries that still haunt the complex.

Before your tour ends, receive a complimentary ticket for a sightseeing cruise on the Thames River, from the Tower of London to Westminster Pier.

Upgrade to include a ticket for the London Eye to be used that evening.

London highlights -great for families of all ages!

    , Jul 2022
Such a fantastic way to see the highlights of London! Our age group spanned 12-75yrs and it was perfect for everyone. Our guide Sheila was funny, witty and most of all knowledgeable. She moved us along at a great pace - not too slow for the 12yr old but not too fast so the adults had time to take it all in. Tour goes from about 9-5 but you can go at your own pace for a lot of it.

Debra is great at keeping your attention and at telling an interesting story about the sights. And with the driver (sir) Barrington it was a natural duo to avoid some traffic and add some extra little views. It was a great thing to do to finish my little vacation in London, ending with a small cruise up the Themes and ending up on the top of the London wheel.

It was a great tour and the tourguide Deborah was excellent! It was only a pity that we were too late for the London Eye experience. The tour was a a little too long, to arrive in time with the city tour boat. ..

    An average tour! Disappointing!

    , Jun 2022
Big shout out to our driver who navigated London very well! Our tour guide was good! Provided a good narrative! What I find disappointing is that I find it that wr did not get our money’s worth . The details of tour did not match what we got from the tour. We also missed the London Eye because the ticket for 515 pm. They’re no way they to meet that because that would mean cutting the tour of London tower short which is not fair. Even if it was to start at 545 pm or 6 pm….it’s possible yo make it! Suggest to make the London Eye valid for 24 hrs or offer refund if unused due to delays in tour running late.

Dear Patricia, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your lovely comments about driver and guide. We would love to allow more time at Tower of London, but due to current closing time at London Eye it is not possible. Thank you for your suggestions about London Eye, we will keep them in mind when planning for next season. We would like to learn more about your experience and what details did not match, so please kindly email us at reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk with your booking reference so we can investigate further. Poorly Organized

    , Jun 2022
It was a good tour itinerary but our guide poorly managed our time and rushed us everywhere. She had no clue where our bus went and made all the people walk in the sun for an extra 5 minutes. She was poorly organized and could not for the life of her figure out how much time was needed for each item on the trip.

    Great tour for a family
    Lindsey_S
    , Jun 2022
The tour was well planned and we saw so much including a wonderful display of the changing of the guards. I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish we had had more time at The Tower of London before having to get in the boat and make it to our time at the London Eye. That felt rushed and we were there less than an hour. Our tour guide was amazing and I’d give her 5 stars. Very friendly and informative.

Worse tour that I have taken
    Jeanne_H
    , Jun 2022
How to begin. Let's start at the beginning. The pick up place was very hard to find. Several of us from the tour had difficulty finding it. Upon finding it we were kept standing in line for a half hour instead of being able to board the the bus at the designated time. There were older people and people with canes standing and waiting. Once the tour started we were informed that because of the Julbilee we would not be able to go anywhere near Buckingham palace. The name of the tour was London in one day with the changing of the guard. If we couldn't go anywhere near the palace we should have had the option of a refund. At some point the tour director asked if we could all handle a ten minute walk that she would take slow. Everyone agreed it would be okay. We were then led on a fast paced 45 minute walk. During the walk, the older people and the person with the cane had a VERY hard time keeping up. The tour director was totally clueless and could care less where any one was. She had to be told that there were people way behind. There was a wonderful couple on the tour that made it their business to try and keep track of everyone. They ended leaving the tour early because the director frustrated them so much. At one point we left the bus to tour St Paul's Cathedral. When one of the guests came out of the Cathedral the bus had been moved without the guests being informed that it was going to be moved. In the meantime the bus started leaving without him. When the tour director was told by his wife that he wasn't there her comment was "I counted. Are you sure?" She was assured from his wife that he was not there and she finally went to find him. We also were not given enough time to make our reservation for the eye and lost the money we spent on it. All in all it was a terrible experience and most of it could be placed directly at the feet of the tour director.

Was decent but could be better!

Figuring out where to meet for this tour was VERY confusing! When we finally found the location, the man who worked for this company was so disorganized and seemed confused himself. The tour itself was fine. The morning drive around London was too long-it seemed that we were stuck in traffic more than anything. We did see the changing of the guards though which was neat. My only other complaint about the morning was that we went 3 hours with no bathroom stop and we were told we couldn’t use the bathroom on the coach. That’s a long time! The afternoon was jam packed! By the time we got to the Tower of London, we only had 20 minutes if we wanted to make it to the boat cruise and London Eye on time. As it was, we got to the London Eye and we were the last group they let in. It seems that we could’ve cut some of the driving time in the morning to allow for more time at the other attractions. We did a lot in one day and enjoyed the things we did-just needed more time!

Dear Apryl, We are very sorry to hear your feedback about finding Victoria Coach Station. The majority of our day tours depart from Victoria Coach Station, and when guests make their reservation this is clearly stated as the departure point with instructions of how to find the location, as is the case with Viator. We believe once at Victoria Coach Station you met our new staff Jacob, who is currently on training and shadowing our experienced staff, that is why you might have found him "disorganised and confused". Thank you for your suggestion about itinerary and timings, which we will keep in mind when preparing for next season. and we never saw the palace or even got close to where the changing of the guard occurred. So for me this wasa waste
    Sharon_Q
    , Jun 2022
The guide was very knowledgeable but it doesn’t matter how much knowledge a person has if they can’t show you what’s been advertised. I wanted to see the changing of the guard and also tour the tower of London and hear the history. However neither one of those things were covered. I feel like I was misled since they did not cover either event. The bus was late and we never saw the palace or even got close to where the changing of the guard occurred. So for me this was a waste of money.

    Very disappointed
    Sandra_B
    , Jun 2022
We were given no information on where to meet the tour except Victoria coach station which is huge. We also had no phone number or email to contact the provider. The tour guide was knowledgeable but hard to hear outside. He walked too fast for my husband and I to keep up and we got lost from the tour at one stop. We were too tired to walk over to the London eye after the cruise and went back to the hotel.

Dear Sandra, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry to hear your feedback about finding us at Victoria Coach Station. The majority of our day tours depart from Victoria Coach Station, and when guests make their reservation this is clearly stated as the departure point with instructions of how to find us at the location (gate 1-5), as is the case with Viator. Our Contact Centre number also appears on the voucher, should you need to contact us. We are sorry to hear that you felt the guide walked too fast, indeed this tour requires moderate walking. Waste of time and overpriced
    Cameron_P
    , Jun 2022
Total waste of time and money. Part of the issue was they were still cleaning up from the Jubilee but the schedule was published online and the tour guide should have known that. No time spent at Buckingham or see the changing of the guard. She desperately walked through the park just to find a random solider in military fatigues (as if they was the same). First half was a complete waste of time plus then they don't even escort you at the Tower of London in the second half. Save yourself time and money and do a hop on/off tour instead.
