  • Generally the sights are relatively quiet and we always practice social distancing but at some locations it is possible small sections may have small crowds so we will do our best to avoid them though social distancing is generally not a problem. All of our tours are private so it is just you/your family and your guide.  To make it easier and safer for all concerned we would suggest starting this tour a little later than the usual time, perhaps around 10.30-11am which allows us all to miss rush-hour. We are happy to still come to your hotel to meet you but for the moment we would suggest meeting us at the tour starting point.  This allows you to arrive by a taxi or uber rather than public transport. Please feel free to wear masks throughout or at times during the tour.  Your guide will also have a mask with them.

Stephen the guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and walked at a good pace for me. He allowed ample time to take pictures, and provided a lot of history about London. I could tell he enjoys his job. He texted me 3 days before to confirm the tour, which I REALLY appreciated. It helped ease my mind to know that the tour was a go. I also liked that the tour started at the hotel, and at the end he pointed me in the right direction to Harrod's, which was perfect timing to enjoy lunch at Harrod's. It's a really good walking tour, so wear comfy shoes, I put on 20,261 steps 8.2 miles that day! Thank you Stephen Ye Olde England Tours!

This tour gave us the most amazing experience. Stephan made it easy for us and met us at a train station near where we were staying and off we went. We saw everything! Because this is a personal tour you can make some changes to make sure you see what you want to. My husband and I are more interested in seeing the architecture and learning about the history than going into a museum and looking at artifacts i.e. the crown jewels. Stephan is funny, intelligent, extremely knowledgeable and worth every penny or pound. My husband and I have only one regret and that is we wish we would have hired Stephan for an additional day.
