Your foodie adventure begins in South Beach. Choose an afternoon or evening and meet your guide for a tour of the area’s culinary hotspots favored by locals. Set off through the colorful, iconic Miami Beach neighborhood, bedecked in Art Deco accents and architecture. En route to your first stop, hear about some of the most beloved properties and the city’s efforts to preserve the colors and motifs that have become emblematic of South Beach.

Your excursion includes hearty food tastings—and a fair amount of walking to burn it off. As you sample myriad flavors from Columbia, Cuba, Argentina, Peru, and beyond, you quickly understand how South Beach earned its acclaim as a vibrant food locale.

Between stops, your guide passes highly acclaimed restaurants and talented kitchens. Get insider tips on which eateries to visit and which to avoid—and if you have other questions, just ask.

Your evening tour ends just in time to grab a nightcap or enjoy the famous Miami Beach nightlife.

My husband and I took this tour the other day with Gina. She was very knowledgeable and fun, and the food was delicious. We were so full afterward we could only eat a salad for dinner. Not only did we enjoy the food, but she shared a lot of interesting history about South Beach and we got to see the lobbies of several of the hotels we drove by. Highly recommended. Thanks, Gina!

The memorable part of the tour was the food, especially the ropa vieja! That’s the first ropa vieja I’ve tasted that was so juicy, so tender and got lots of flavor! And of course, the mama Mia gelato! I wanted to buy like a pint of it but the lady behind the counter didn’t understand. All she said is “I don’t know, this come from Italy”. So I just didn’t bother. And of course meeting people with the same interest- food! I’m so impressed with Cristina, our tour guide, it shows she loves what she’s doing!

Our tour host, Jennifer, was excellent. Intelligent, whitty, with great stories on the culture, history and architecture of South Beach. She made the tour special. Our first stop, Bolivar bar & restaurant, I would also rate as excellent. The next 3 stops were quite good ... just not up to the “Jenifer” standard. Would I recommend this to others: definitely.
