AMAZING Tour; Favorite of the 3 weeks in Europe

Of our 3 weeks in Europe, this was probably our favorite tour from Munich to the castles. Just a wonderful experience on a very nice bus, with a very sweet and knowledgeable tour lady. With the pandemic, we basically had 1/4 of the bus full, so plenty of room to spread out and feel safe. Note that this tour will take all day, and you need to make sure you're on time. They leave when they say they will because the entry tickets are planned for set times, and they can't be late. A couple didn't show up, they waited 10 minutes, and then we left. Oh well.

Great and very complete tour. Our guide was really nice and knowledgeable. We just needed another 30 minutes at Neuschwanstein Castle to take advantage of the view, take more pictures and see the shops.

This is an excellent day trip and we were not disappointed in any way. The driver, Mentor, was a safe driver and courteous. Our tour guide, Katharina, was the best. She was easy to understand and knew facts, figures and history so we knew what we were looking at and the historical significance of both Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castles. As we drove out of Munich, she provided us a narrated tour of the city. She also provided us recommendations on where to eat which we used and were very pleased with her recommendations. Very highly recommended! Our guide and driver were extremely friendly, helpful and informative during the visit to the two castles, which are an excellent break from the city if you're visiting Munich. The guide gave us a lot of fascinating background information about the castles, royal family and Munich that helped us appreciate our day even more. We also enjoyed the village and mountain scenery on the way. The bus is brand new and super comfortable. A must do if you're in Munich!

Great trip, the instructions for joining the mini-bus were clear and easy to find. The tour guide on the bus gave us lots of interesting information about the places we were seeing and Munich. We also drove through Oberammergau to see where the Passion Play is performed every ten years. The tours of the two castles are run by the castles directly and not by the tour company - the only downside of this is you do not know the time of the guided tour until you arrive at each location... but this is unavoidable if you want to see the inside of each castle! Glad I saw both castles and not just Neuschwanstein. Great hospitality with a bottle of beer for the ride back at the end of the day!

Great day was had with Mentor (driver) and Francesca (guide). Picked up as indicated, in a new, well appointed mini coach. Francesca was informative throughout our trip. In turn Mentor drive with great care and attention throughout. Great experience and in truth a really good day.
