Arrange for a pick-up or make your way to the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal to catch your boat to Rose Island.

Climb aboard and enjoy a welcome cocktail while finding the perfect spot on board to watch the shoreline of Nassau recede as you sail away.

Upon arrival at Rose Island, choose from an array of activities. Simply find a sunny or shady place on the pristine beach to relax and read a book or take a nap. Sidle up to the beach bar and indulge in a drink or two while listening to some island rhythms (own expense). Don snorkel gear and take to the sea to explore the underwater world bustling with living coral and schools of brilliantly colored tropical fish. Stroll down the island's winding paths and wade in the tidal pools.

Your guide organizes group activities like beach volleyball and dizzy lizard, or you can rent a float or kayak. Sign up for a guided snorkeling tour or watch a fish-feeding show. All additional activities are at your own expense.

Sit down for a buffet lunch on the pavilion overlooking the gorgeous harbor. See a sample buffet lunch menu in the Itinerary section. Savor the local flavors, accompanied by complimentary lemonade and a fully stocked cash bar. Then, stretch out in a hammock under a palm tree or lounge on the palm-shaded deck.

At the end of your remote tropical island adventure, enjoy the cruise back to Nassau.

The piggies seem happy
Patricia_C

The ride was great, Rose Island is quite close to the mainland, it only took us about half an hour to get there. The scuba diving part of the tour was non-eventful, not really worth the time. The lunch provided was delicious and the beachfront was amazing. The experience of seeing the pigs was the main focus of this excursion and so it was successful. The pig handlers are very nice and take care of the piggies while they are out on the beach roaming around the tourists. The pigs were well-mannered...they just wanted to eat! Visitors are able to take photos and feed the piggies who are seem happy to be there.

Great Day

Amazing Day! Probably one of the best excursions we have ever done. Here is what to expect: - check-in & boarding at the ferry terminal is very easy & well organized - the boat ride to the island is quick (30 mins) with beautiful scenery along the way - safety and procedural instructions are well explained & enforced - the island is gorgeous, clean & spacious - there are some hills and steps so keep that in mind if you have difficulty with mobility - snorkeling is okay & you’ll see a bunch of coral, fish and other sea creatures - there may be different packages, but we did the standard drink package & all of our drinks (unlimited basic liquor) were included - lunch was well organized with plenty of food (chicken, hotdogs, pasta salad, peas & rice, salad) - the water on the beach side was pristine (crystal clear, turquoise, warm, calm & with very little waves) - the beach was gorgeous (clean white sandy beaches, beautiful views, spacious, not over crowded) - plenty of beach chairs, hammocks in the shade & sun - the pigs are adorable, trained and friendly - the staff is beyond amazing (helpful, fun, attentive, professional, informative, knowledgeable & go above and beyond) What should you bring: - A towel or blanket - Dramamine (if you get sea sick) - Sun Screen - Money for tipping!!!!!!!!! - Your Camera (there are all kinds of birds, chickens, peacocks, lizards and other cute critters roaming the island) - A Mask (COVID) You need to wear a mask on the ferry, but can take it off once on the island. Keep it handy though as you will need to wear it while getting your lunch from the buffet

Our favorite excursion!

Everything was great from pickup to drop off. Very well organized, had plenty of time to snorkel, swim with the adorable pigs, and relax in the sun. Food & drinks were great too! Special thanks to Cody & Steven who helped our friend get past her snorkeling fears, their expertise & humor helped us get her in the water and she had a blast! Tips- Dramamine if you are susceptible to motion sickness, boat is large and comfortable but we were definitely rockin. Bring towels and sunscreen. Will definitely go back!

Great experience

The experience was amazing! And the drinks were also really good. The bar tenders were very nice. The pigs were huuuge and adorable, I wish they spent more time in the water though. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because my snorkle was missing the mouth grip, and it was very uncomfortable.

Highly recommend Sandy Toes. The activities are great - especially the pig play time. And the staff is so well organized and friendly. The drinks are also well made and the lunch is more than satisfying. The Sandy Toes compound has everything one needs to have a good time and be comfortable (good restrooms, showers, lounge chairs). Lastly - the peacocks were a nice surprise.

A day in paradise with Sandy toes and half the clothes

Overall great day! Great atmosphere, location, guides and people! Great activities, nature oriented and of course, endless BOOZE! Only downside for me was the lack in variety of food, (no seafood) and the timing was short, felt more like a half day. Maybe if the departure was earlier in the morning AND later at the end of the day.
