Snorkelling was amazing

Right from the 5:30 pickup everything was perfect. Crew very knowledgeable, always ready to help, with a great spirit that made the whole day fun. Food and service was excellent. Highly recommend.
Best experience in Thailand
, Mar 2020
Wow, Jane and her team really took care of us. This was my groups favorite part of our trip to Thailand. It was truest worth waking early to be the first to step foot on bamboo island and go snorkeling. My boyfriend does not know how to swim so our guide Jane swam alongside him every moment to ensure his safety and gave him a private snorkeling lesson while teaching him about all the different varieties of fish we were lucky enough to see. 10/10 recommend to all staying on Phuket.
Phi Phi sunrise
, Feb 2020
The driver picked myself and my girlfriend up at our hotel in Patong and arrived on time. They drove us to the Marine where we had a small breakfast. The tour itself was very pleasant and the crew was super friendly, particularly the tour guide was always smiling and happy and gave us the specific locations we would visit and always made sure we had refreshments. The speed boat ride is a bit bumpy and can get wet if you go in the back. Other than that it was amazing, we went snorkeling 2 times and the places we visited were incredible. Don’t hesitate to choose this company Simba Sea, we would definitely do it again!
Great Overall Tour
, Feb 2020
After my experience, I will definitely say that a sunrise tour is the best way to visit the Phi Phi Islands. This tour was very good value for its cost. I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel. At their office, they provided us with refreshments and light snacks as we were debriefed about the tour. The speedboat was comfortable and clean. Fortunately, the weather was clear so we were able to get great shots of the sunrise. The tour includes several stops for swimming, snorkeling, picture taking, and eating. The first stop to Bamboo Island was great. We were one of the first tours to arrive and pretty much had the beach to ourselves. They served breakfast on the beach. The two snorkeling stops were good and the tour guides are very knowledgeable. The last stop was Rai Yang where we had a delicious lunch by the beach.
It’s ok

A little bit expensive for the experience they provoke you. Well organized. However it’s a little bit hurried.

Thanks for your review. Its a shame you didn't elaborate on how and why you felt the tour was hurried. The vast majority of our customers are very satisfied with the value proposition of a small, more exclusive tour size. This directly effects our costs of running tours at low passenger numbers and is what drives our pricing. There's a fine balance between packing too many stops or not enough into a tour that is generally well received by the majority of our travellers. Some prefer to spend longer at some stops while others do not. We do take great care in making sure our tour descriptions online are accurate. Thank you for choosing us.
Amazing tour!

Loved this tour! Our guide and the crew were awesome, the boat was very comfortable, and the sights were so beautiful! The lunch buffet was also delicious. Our guide took great photos of everyone on the boat during sunrise and one of the scenic stops which was greatly appreciated.
Amazing experience for the family

Thanks Simba. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and found all the crew exceptionally professional friendly and fun. Would recommend to everyone. The time spent at each of the places was ideal and the number of places just the right amount.
Take this tour! 10/10 recommend!

Our tour guide Nui was awesome! He's super friendly, funny, and outgoing... made us feel comfortable from the get go. The crew took great care of us. Always on the ready with snacks, drinks, and whatever to make us feel comfortable. It's an early wake up of course but so worth it. The weather was nice and there weren't any huge waves. Seeing the sunrise was gorgeous. Snorkeling was my favorite. Be careful of sea lice and swimming near rocks... it can irritate your skin. Nui was great at following us into the water and leading us to interesting things to see. Phuket is such a tourist trap that this was a really nice calm and fun getaway from all the crazy. Definitely recommend if you have half a day to spare!
Sunrise phi phi island trip

Wife and i took the grandkids on the early morning tour. Pick up was on time(5am). Wonderful crew and only 18 people on our trip. We beat the crowds and had an awesome time. Beautiful scenery and great food. Trip was a little pricey(over$800 AUD) for the 4 of us. Kids 14 and 9 yrs old. But if you want that special day you will look back on and have no negatives about the day then book with Sinbad tours. Skipper was there to help me in and out of the boat everytime I swam or snorkelled. Mo Mo was lovely as our host. Other boats had a lot more people on them. Thanks guys. Steve and Julie .
A good trip but safety not a priority

We had chosen to go out to Phi Phi islands in the end of August. The reviews indicated that it was a reputable tour and I decided to take it even though they were a little bit more expensive. On the day of the trip I had called them in the morning if the trip was cancelled as we were experiencing bad weather the whole night. They informed me that I can't cancel the trip and only Simba tours will do so after assessing the weather. In the morning the refused to cancel the trip as the rains had slowed down a little. But the whole experience was dampened due to the weather. To make matters worse the weather turned even worse on the trip back and everyone in the boat was simply praying that we will make it through the day. This was simply and unacceptable risk to take with your client. This company does not seem to cancel any trip no matter the weather. I was expecting them to be more profession. The crew themselves were friendly and tried to make us better it was obvious that they were just as nervous.

Hello, Many thanks for taking the time to review your day with Simba. At Simba we strive to be the safest tour boat company in Thailand with western standards set and followed. We certainly do not send out boats in all conditions as you suggested. We regularly cancel tours due to weather, and in the rare occasion have tours turn back if conditions were not as advertised by the Thai Meteorology department. We are aware the weather on the day of your tour took a turn for the worst. We are very sorry to hear of this, as we take great care in our assessment of the expected conditions for the day. The information we use is very detailed and in depth, and like meteorology all over the world, unfortunately is not 100% accurate as it turned out on your day of the tour. The weather worsened around lunch time many hours before it was forecast to, and I'm sorry this impacted the enjoyment of your wet day out. Our crew are highly experienced and well trained in their roles, and avoid dangerous boating wherever possible. Boating like aviation can be unpredictable at times, hence why we ensure our staff are of a high calibre and best equipped to handle conditions that arise unexpectedly. Please also understand that when our guests query us about whether conditions in Phuket, we are looking at a different set of weather indicators, in particular the weather you will encounter to the south east towards Phi Phi in this case, not what's happening in our immediate vicinity. Inclement weather in the tropics is almost always confined to relatively small, isolated areas. Thanks again for your feedback. I hope I have been able to allay some of your concerns, and I can assure you nobody at Simba would knowingly ever put our guests in harms way. Best regards, Paul
