Why Travelers Choose This Tour

Upgrade the 48-hour pass to include skip-the-line entry to 4 major attractions.
Rome has a bounty of things to see and the mix of its architecture is testament to its past; Roman ruins, baroque squares and Renaissance gardens combine to give the city its enticing edge. See it all on a Rome hop-on hop-off bus tour, and learn about the Italian capital as you go.

Show your ticket as you board your Rome tour bus, and then hop on and off at any of the eight stops around town. See the Colosseum where gory gladiatorial battles once took place, and have your camera ready for Piazza Venezia, home to the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument. Throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain for luck, or stretch your legs on a walk through Vatican City.

The full loops lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours, and audio commentary is provided for each sight you pass. Make use on the free onboard Wi-Fi to share pictures, tweet or blog about your travels as you go.

48-Hour Pass with Skip-the-Line Tickets to Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum and Colosseum:

Upgrade to include fast-track admission to three of Rome’s top attractions. The Colosseum ticket includes access to the ancient arena’s first and second tiers. The Roman Forum, with its timeworn temples and ruins, and Palatine Hill are both within walking distance of the Colosseum.

48-Hour Pass with Entry to the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums:

Book this option to include entry to these world-famous Vatican City sights. Explore the vast museum complex, with its unrivaled hoard of artwork, at your leisure. Then step inside the sacred Sistine Chapel to see the frescoes of Michelangelo.

Maximize your time sightseeing Rome and upgrade to include entry to all these top Rome attractions.

Easier to walk

Bus stops are away from main tourist sites due to the nature of the streets, all tourist sites are within walking distance once in the centre of the tourist area. Circuit on bus route takes about hour and twenty minutes so ideal for a rest.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. You can buy the tickets cheaper n the bus and they are 1/2 price after 1:00. This is a rip off.

Excellent way of getting to the main tourist sites but plan exactly what you want to see. 2 day is a great option.

Very convenient way of learning about the major tourist spots in Rome. Friendly drivers and tour bus operators. Run times are frequent so there is no long waiting at the bus stop.

The bus tour was good, the stops were well picked. The bus itself had dirty windows and peelung stickers. The windows should have been clean and free of anything, to alliw taking pi s and videos. That was a downsize. Than there wad confusion with the last stop or drop off stop. Overall was good.
Great way to is Rome !

We used this service and was happy we did. We took the whole tour then went back to places we wanted to visit.
First thing to do in Rome.

We have learned that the red bus tours in most cities are the very first thing to do when starting out. Buy a multi-day ticket- save money and your feet. In Rome they can get you near all the major sites and taking the tour first- 1-1/2 to 2 hours depending on traffic will give you layout of city. Audio information is also good background. PS- these buses DO NOT go on Vatican side of River- but drop off puts you in walking distance.
Never again! Horrible experience!

Was told to get my tickets for "skip the line" for Colosseum in 2 different places. Finally found the tiny office after much walking and they struck us in a "French" tour, they never explain the system, of what to do. Guide (Anna) walked really fast and didn't care that we didn't know what to do. It was a horrible experience. Don't' bother, they staff at every stop was less than kind or helpful. At the end of the tour we had to walk back to our hotel about 4 bocks (in the rain). They picked us up right outside our hotel but never said they wouldn't return us there!
Great way to see Rome

We have visited Rome on 2 occasions and have used this Hop on Hop off bus on both occasions, it is both great value for money and makes getting around Rome to visit all the main attractions easy. The information from the recorded commentary is very informative and the bus stops are very convenient for the attractions. We would highly recommend this tour.

Typical Ho-On Hop-Off bus tour. Only complaint was that the route really did not stop directly at, nor talk much or at all about the most famous attractions in Rome such as the Forum, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc. Gave a nice ride around town, but not to the main attractions as was described.
