Bonnie is an amazing guide! She has an excellent knowledge of Savannah’s history and shared it with a great sense of humor to keep it interesting. We are from Florida, so we are accustomed to the heat/humidity. However, we certainly appreciated Bonnie’s sensitivity to keeping us on the shady side of the street as we meandered through downtown. I definitely recommend this tour!!!

An informative and thoroughly enjoyable tour of Savannah

We had a lovely amble around Savannah with Bonnie. We wanted to learn as much as we could about Savannah in the little time allowed to us and Bonnie did not disappoint. As Bonnie walked us around the historic district she told us how and why Savannah was settled and also who settled the city. She took breathed life into the history of Savannah by showing us important sites and statues of those without whom Savannah would not exist. The mid tour stop at the coffee shop in leafy square was enjoyed by all. Bonnie is not just knowledgeable about historical events, but current ones too. I highly recommend her and her tour.

Bonnie was a wonderful tour guide- very knowledgeable and personable. The tour covers quite a bit of area but the slower pace made it easier to walk in the heat . I would highly recommend both Bonnie and the tour .

This was an excellent tour. I love Savannah and have taken a number of tours here in the past. This was my favorite. Bonnie took me to many of the locations I had visited before but added much to the discussion I had not previously heard. Savannah was a major player in the Revolutionary War? Who knew? Have you ever heard of “nominal slaves”? I have now! She also brought me to many parts of the city and monuments not frequently visited, including a monument to one of the black regiments (yes there were a few) recruited from Haiti by the French to join the American forces during the Revolutionary War. Bonnie has an amazing memory for history and discussed dates, details and definitions with enthusiasm and wit. Along the way, she also pointed out great spots for drinks and meals. The perfect guide! The perfect tour!

We met with our guide Bonnie at 9:00. She began promptly sharing a wealth of knowledge of the history of Savannah. Bonnie was very engaging and made our day with visiting friends a great experience. Please ask for Bonnie as she is a real history buff, professional, and fun. Highly recommend.
