Angkor Wat at its best

This was an excellent tour. The guide, whom I think was named Chin, was so helpful, polite, intelligent, knowledgeable. Would thoroughly recommend this tour, particularly with him. He managed to take photos for us, and even tho there were hundreds of other people in the vicinity, in the photos there is just us and the background.

Angkor Wat Sunrise tour

The tour was good and our guide, Chen, was punctual and had loads of information but was most valuable in showing us the best spots for photos which was so helpful! The sunrise and day experience was perfect but I was a little disappointed in the sunset- we just sat by the canal and watched the sunset as Chen said the top of the hill viewing point would be too crowded and we may not even get to see anything. This should be clearly mentioned in the description as we expected more. As it was we could have just booked the sunrise tour with temples. It is best to carry some food as there is not much option during the tour and the places are expensive. The car and driver were great with water and cold towels provided and appreciated in the heat.

Dear customers, Thank you for letting us know, we use is South gate of Angkor Thom to see and take photos, sunset and pink sky over the moat ( man made lake), 2 row of 45 statues flanked the bridge. It have mentioned in itinerary and we are sure tour guide have taken you to this place. We knew that some days the sunset is not so nice but this weather problem. We will advise all our groups to request their hotel to make breakfast boxes to take way if it included. Kind regards Angkor Doors Team

Love the arrangement of this tour which take you to enjoy both sunrise and sunset at Angkor Wat. The itinerary of our tour was very well planned. We didn't feel crowded most of the time and was able to take beautiful pictures without a lot of people around. Highly recommend this tour!

Angkor Wat Sunset Tour | Mar 2020
We booked in for a sunset tour with Mr. Pal Chen. This was my second time seeing Angkor Wat. The first time I winged it without a guide. This time was much better and I credit Mr. Chen for that. He's an ex-Buddhist monk and provided excellent perspective and history on all of the sites we saw, but especially about Angkor Wat. Understanding the history really enriched the experience. As my friend said, it felt like Mr. Chen really understood the history and wasn't just reciting from a script, as we felt we were overhearing from some of the other guides.

Great adventure in Cambodian street food

Siem Reap Street Food Tour | Jan 2020
This street food tour pushed us out of our comfort zone and we sampled some fantastic local delicacies as a result. The stuffed frog, fried crickets, and Cambodian sweets were all delicious. The setting, eating local food with the local people, was a great way to feel momentarily immersed in the culture.

The food we sampled was fantastic from the street side deep fried spring rolls, to the black sticky rice pudding, to the wonderful egg coffee that capped off the evening.

War Museum, Killing Field and Floating village ( Chong Kneas) Tour | Jan 2020
This is a very targeted tour so it is really only for those who are interested in the specific subject of Pol Pot and the Cambodian Genocide. It is extremely interesting if this topic is of interest to you but if not then it probably isn't a tour for you to consider.

Delicious food, friendly guide!

Siem Reap Street Food Tour | Sep 2019
I am so glad we booked this tour! Our tour guide took us to Road 60, which is where locals go to get good street food and was only 10-15 min from our hotel. But I’m confident we would never have thought to go there on our own and if we did, we definitely wouldn’t have known what to order. Our guide took us from stall to stall, ordering different things for us to try. And everything was delicious! You’ll definitely want to have an empty stomach before this tour because we ate a ton of food. While our guide was not pushy about making us try everything, I could tell he was glad we did! And so was I! I feel like I got a much more authentic eating experience on this tour than I would have from a restaurant next to our hotel. I wish we had more time in Siem Reap to do another tour with Angkor Doors because I really had an excellent time with our tour guide! Would recommend them to anyone!
