Your half-day Singapore city tour starts in the Civic District, where you’ll see government buildings and other landmarks such as the Parliament House, the Cricket Club, Padang sports field and the National Gallery Singapore, where the former Supreme Court Building and City Hall sit. Then stop for a view of Marina Bay and photo op of the Merlion statue, Singapore’s mythological figure that’s half-fish, half-lion.

Next, visit Thian Hock King, one of the city’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, followed by a drive through Chinatown. Stop by the National Orchid Garden, part of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which is home to 60,000 orchids of various colors and hybrids. Your last stop is the neighborhood of Little India, where you can take in the lively atmosphere and delicious scents coming out of the many Indian restaurants.

When your tour ends, you’ll have a helpful overview of the city so you can decide where you want to return later to explore in more depth on your own.

The guide was great with a lot of knowledge that was probably only thing i enjoyed. I would say, now from my own experience, It is better going without a tour. You can easily take metro/subway. Cheap and easy. Especially Marina bay where everything is just around (Supertree, flyer, gardens..) Your time will not be limited because with the tour they stop on the opposite side just to take pictures. The temple, little India are stops I would skip at all. I was excited to visit Orchid garden but it was raining heavily and you know.. Tour wouldn't wait until it stops... So I saw nothing from the garden which was the main point of booking this tour. You cen get there using metro and if it rains you can wait... Because it stopped like 10 min. after we left to little India.. Which again, nothing interesting. It is just a market with no time to browse or shop anyway. You just walk through small, smelly aisle. Tea tasting... Not bad but nothing special. Just go sit down and enjoy a cup of tea somewhere else.
