Excellent tour and service.

Excellent tour. So good to be able to take things at our own pace and not be rushed. Tour guide, Mr Tan, AKA Andy, was very helpful, especially in the market when we were trying to buy some fabric, and was good fun. Took us for a delicious lunch. Highly recommend.
This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Met was just brilliant, friendly and informative. We had excellent communication before the tour, which I unfortunately did not pick up as the internet on the ship was terrible. However, after reading reviews on this site I did know to meet outside the port gates. I was worried before hand about the timings as Ho Chi Minh City is a large distance from the port. I did not need to be concerned as Met made sure we were back in plenty of time. This was made clear before we even set off!. I would thoroughly recommend this tour for price, comfort. information and most of all enjoyment. Thank you Met.
We had an excellent guide by the name of Andy who was local to the city and knew a lot about the area as well as having a great sense of humour and good English. We also had a separate driver was very good and had a very comfortable air conditioned car.
Andy took us to all the sites that were on the itinerary as well as ones that we asked for such as the Hard Rock Cafe and we cannot praise him more as an excellent guide who kept to the time and itinerary (even if we took longer at some than others!).
If you do this trip then do ask for Andy as he will ensure that you get your money’s worth and have an enjoyable time - highly recommended.
Our city tour with Met from Maximus Tours was perfect. She met our party of 8 at the port in a cool and spacious van. Met was very knowledgeable about all of the important sights to see in Ho Chi Minh City. We had a delicious lunch at a small Vietnamese restaurant that was wonderful. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Met!
My wife and I were a bit nervous when booking this tour as there was no way we wanted to get back to the port late and end up being stranded in Vietnam - but right from the start our guide, Mr Tan (Andy), and our driver, Mr Three, gave us total confidence that all would be fine. Andy, whose English is excellent, was very knowledgeable and worked so hard to give us information and answer our questions. The journey to/ from the port is quite long (about 1.5/ 2 hours), so we only had about 4 hours in the city - but despite heavy traffic throughout the day, we managed to do and see so much - including the Post Office, Notre Dame, the War Remnants Museum, the Lacquer Workshop and the outside of the Palace, as well as having a nice lunch. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour - such good value for money.
We arrived with our cruise ship at “Puh May” cruise port. Our travel guide Jayden was awaiting us together with a driver and his very comfortable, luxury SUV. We have been welcomed very warmly, and friendly, and Jayden provided us water while we began our journey to Ho-Chi-Minh.
The trip took around 1:30-2:00 hours and Jayden used the time to explain many things about Vietnam for us. He showed us pictures and gave us details of the culture, history, political background, and people of Vietnam.
During our visit, he agreed with us about what we are going to see and what our interests are. Jayden was able to adjust to our requirements. We have seen all that we would have liked to see, the highlights of Saigon, but also adding some of our wishes like shopping, market, etc. He managed to stay in time and controlled the entire day precisely. Time management is essential when you are on a cruise ship, but we didn’t have to worry at any time.
Jayden also organized for us a fantastic Vietnamese lunch. He listened carefully to what we would like to taste and provided us an excellent lunch experience.
Jayden is very aware of what tourists would like to see. He is knowledgeable and extremely well outspoken. His English is excellent and he is also fun and enjoyable. We highly recommend a tour with him. May he have a blessed future on all his journeys!
